The AI Deputization Audit

Handing a task to AI is a judgment call — not a switch you flip once and forget. The AI Deputization Audit is how we make that call systematically, instead of guessing.

1. Discovery Consultation

In a live 2-hour session, we walk through the tasks that actually take up your time — the recurring ones, the ones you dread, the ones you're not sure you should be doing yourself anymore.

2. Score each task

Every task gets scored 0–2 across five dimensions, for a total out of 10:

• Worth it — does automating this actually save meaningful time or money?
• Teachable — can you explain the task clearly enough for AI to learn it?
• Checkable — can you tell, quickly, whether the output is right or wrong?
• Stakes — how bad is it if AI gets this one wrong?
• You-factor — does this depend on your judgment, relationships, or taste in a way that's hard to replace?

3. Sort into tiers

The total score sorts each task into one of three tiers:

• Deputize · 8–10 Hand it to AI now. Low-risk, well-understood, easy to verify.
• Duet · 4–7 AI assists, you stay in the loop. A collaborative workflow, not full automation.
• Defend · 0–3 Keep it human. Too high-stakes, too personal, or too hard to check to trust to AI right now.

What happens after

You leave the consultation with a completed Audit and a written summary. If you proceed with follow-on project work, discovery is billed in full two-hour blocks at $250 per two hours. The amount of discovery depends on the project's complexity, and half of the discovery hours are credited toward project delivery.
